My primary belief is that you should not tell someone else what to believe

But, the outrageous way fundamentalists use religion to manipulate the simple minded for their selfish ends made me want to point out a few simple statements/questions.

Jesus had a brother James, known as the pure, head of the jewish temple in Jerusalem, so assuming there was any differences between jewish thought of 30 A.D. and Jesus would ignore the book of James and close family ties

What was the most popular religion of the roman soldiers of 70 A.D.?  The god was born of a virgin on December 25th, was the sacrifice who saves worshippers, you drink the blood and eat the body of the sacrificed animal as a surrogate for the God, and a holy spirit was part of the ritual.  I never had heard of mithras or mithra but found in roman fortifications on hladdrian’s wall and Hungary statues to mitha which started my investigations.

What happened at the sea of Galilee during the war between the romans and jews when the gospels were written?  According to Josephesus the sea was filled with dead soldiers, horrible famous battle there, why would fishers of men be included in the Gospel?

How did James the brother of Jesus die?  Latin was the language of Jesus’s enemies.  Did Saul/Paul represent Jesus or the Roman viewpoint of 70 A.D.?  Why did the followers of Paul throw James down the temple cliffs to his death?

Were Muhammad’s wives veiled?  A man has a responsibility to watch where he looks that is equal to a woman’s responsibility for modesty.  I know we are all hard wired to look, but we should be able to keep our eyes averted, and apologize and/or correct the behavior when it happens inadvertently.

What true religion denies science? those of simple faith may be led astray, but we all should know that science is real and we should pay attention, its for our own good

I think the reason we exist is to learn to love, i would be sad if you are mad, so don’t be mad, be glad we live at a time where we are connected and can share what really happened and make what common sense we can out of it.
